Manchester has something for everyone...

Choosing the name Busybee Cityscape for my first ever blog wasn't easy!

I decided to narrow it down to two Mancunian symbols; the Manchester Bee and the Red Rose of Lancashire.

The decision was then easy. The bee represents Mancunian's hard work and graft during the Industrial revolution. Manchester began to expand at an astonishing rate - a hive of activity in the 19th century which was brought on by a boom in textile manufacture. As a consequence, Manchester became the world's first industrialised city, therefore, 'busybee' seemed appropriate.

Modern day Manchester's cityscape is ever-changing and I love the iconic Manchester skyline.

Hence, Busybee Cityscape...
